....so last night we moved out our house and into Gavs mums flat which is taking a bit of getting used to - mainly because its not our house....its kinda like being on holiday - staying in one of those rented houses - etc there's food and the fridge and jaffa lives across the road.....
3 wee men (one of which was wearing really lovely aftershave) arrived at our house this morning in a medium sized van with an awful lot of cardboard boxes and proceeded to pack up our house. it was quite bizarre watching strangers man handling all our stuff......felt the need to make sure they were very careful with my shoes - imagine opening a carton in new plymouth to discover they had just thrown them all in a box?!? gutted would be an understatement!!!
so what next? well tomorrow - everything gets packed into a container and our belongings will be on their way to new zealand......before us it seems!!!
we're still waiting for our flights to get booked - which is kind of annoying....well not so much that they haven't booked them - we know we're going.... just more that people keep asking "so when are you actually leaving?" and saying "well - we're not quite sure" kinda makes us look a bit stupid....
anyway - leaving party is booked for the 14th of March - should be hella fun!!!! (that is - as long as everyone turns up)....
